The Parquet file contains all 275,153 ranked identities with the leaderboard's counts, activity, tools and repositories. Download it in full or read selected columns and rank ranges. Its manifest provides the file size, checksum, row count, schema and source timestamp. Records are ordered by global rank; the file uses Zstandard compression within its row groups.
Know the population
The current JSON contains 1,000 published ranked identities: 864 people, 18 automation identities, and 118 unresolved identities. People are the default leaderboard; the other identity types are advanced views. This is a bounded subset of 275,153 total ranked identities. The totals describe the complete population; summing the JSON rows will not reproduce those totals.
Rankings pages show 100 records at a time from the JSON subset. The homepage shows 25 identities. Type toggles number the selected combination from 1, consistently across pages and search. Downloaded global ranks remain available for provenance and lookup. Search reaches additional identities through an index derived from the same Parquet file.

tools | Detected tool categories. Multiple tools can appear on one commit; tool populations overlap. |
coverage.completed_share | Fraction of known repositories scanned. Global coverage is not per-person coverage. |
generated_at | Source snapshot timestamp. It is separate from the deployment time. |
null | Unavailable account or avatar reference. Zero is an observed count and is distinct from a missing reference. |
Retrieve one record
Every published developer profile links to a small JSON file and a Markdown page at /developers/USERNAME.json and /developers/USERNAME.md. Each carries its source digest, UTC window and coverage. Technical pages and articles also link to Markdown alternatives.
Cite with context
Use the citation control to copy the value together with its population, UTC window, source date, digest, coverage and methodology version. The downloads represent the current publication and are replaced on the next build; retain the file and digest when reproducibility matters. Identifiable records remain subject to correction and removal.
